1) Where It Ends, We Begin: A Poem-Inspired Movement Workshop
2) Where It Ends, We Begin: A Poem-Inspired Movement
Workshop for Children with Different Needs
Walk down interesting and imaginative pathways with us! In this movement workshop inspired by Shel Silverstein’s timeless collection of poems and drawings, “Where the Sidewalk Ends”, children will stimulate their imagination and develop creativity through movement. This session will promote learning and cognitive development through physical movement.
Inspired by Guerrilla gardening, whereby the act of spontaneous planting in spaces that is usually perceived to be abandoned, or not part of a measured environment, challenges the perimeters of someone else’s land, thus the segregation in society.
Our young performers from A LITTLE RAW Company draw their act on this movement through the expression of Creative Movement. Hoping to bring people together with an appreciation of life with a shared social purpose.
25 Parent-Child participants from 3 PCF centres were invited to participate in a one-day workshop to discover the joys of bonding through craft making, dance exploration and composition to create their own “Star Dance”, which was performed as part of BOUND (excerpts) at “Arts of Wonder 2” – PAssionArts Festival 2018, Nanyang CACC, 28 July 2018. Guest-of-Honour Mr Yeo Chia Hsing, Grassroots Advisor to Nanyang GROS, MP for Choa Chu Kang GRC was invited to grace the occasion.
This one-day dance movement psychotherapy workshop offers you an opportunity to discover and embody the art of active listening, to identify what your body and soul are telling you, to find your own rhythm, in order for you to set clear boundary to have a happier work-life balance.
RAW Moves in collaboration with TheCameraBank presented pARTicipate as part of Got To Move 2016, a nationwide movement organised by National Arts Council, to celebrate dance and to get everyone in Singapore moving.
pARTicipate is a community initiative, which aims to assemble the neighbourhood to take part in simple expressive games suitable for families and members of the society.
